As General Partner, successfully secured $47 million in equity alongside $80 million in project finance, leading to the acquisition, development, and operation of these projects. Facilitated the lucrative sale of the portfolio to a prominent European investor in 2023.• Spearheaded the establishment of a private equity fund that built and operated 12 solar power plants in Chile, consolidating a leading position as the largest distributed-solar power plant company in the Chilean market at the time.• Demonstrated exceptional leadership during a challenging period, personally overseeing the transformation of a building owned by the private equity firm into a multi-disciplinary medical center. Directed the recruitment of over 100 staff, acquisition of specialized equipment, and implementation of essential services, ensuring operational continuity.• Structured a syndicated loan totaling US$300 million for the leveraged buy-out of Indura by Invesa, showcasing adept negotiation skills and financial acumen.• Pioneered a joint venture between Skanska and Petrobras, enhancing strategic capabilities to bid for projects in Mexico, leveraging expertise in project evaluation, structuring, and financing.• Successfully negotiated long-term financing for Autopista Central in Chile, orchestrating a simultaneous issuance of monoliner insured bonds in Chile and the U.S. totaling US$550 million.
